Chesapeake is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chesapeake follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I've only been to the walking trails across the street. There's about 6 trails and they're all really well marked. Each trail is a different distance and there are maps along them to let you know where you're at. They aren't very long so it's a good way to get a little bit of piece and quiet for a little bit. The trails are wide and are very dog friendly.

Perfectly maintained trail with markers and maps to inform where you are. Good sized lake to fish, feed turtles and just soak it all in. Beautiful flowers along the way

Me and a friend decided to take a trip due to needing something free to occupy time on a Saturday. We were recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We took the trails which are quiet and very serene. Very picturesque with bridges, a creek, and the lake making it somewhere to go and escape and think. Safe walking paths and benches to sit and watch the creek. Definitely check them out.

The Chesapeake Arboretum, located just off Battlefield Blvd has over 3 miles of trails making it a wonderful place to walk in tranquility.. meandering paths of beautiful nature! Thereโ€™s also a beautiful gazebo and picnic area

We absolutely love the Arboretum. Itโ€™s free and absolutely beautiful. Itโ€™s especially nice on a hot day because itโ€™s mostly shaded. There is water and bridges and my kids have a lot of fun walking around. There are numerous different trails and paths to walk around. One thing to be aware of is if is there is a lot of poison ivy, however the dedicated paths are clear. The park is clean and honestly not very busy. Itโ€™s nice for a peaceful walk and also a great place to have a picnic or just sit and relax. Iโ€™m surprised it isnโ€™t more busy. Highly recommend!
